I'm Matt, I love good music and have been collecting records since the 80's.
I built this app because whenever I visit anywhere new, I open Google Maps, search 'record store', then click around the results looking at photos, reading reviews, checking opening hours and maybe phoning them to double check they are actually open, before choosing a store or two to go visit in search of vinyl discoveries. Rifling through crates of dusty vinyl and pulling out interesting records to check out is my favourite thing to do. I was getting tired of all the clicking around with Google Maps which is why I built this app, so I can just hit the 'Dig' button wherever I am and get the info I need with one click. I can search stores in new places and save them or create 'vinyl crawls' to look forward to.
